Welcome to the Mathematics Research Lab (MRL). The MRL is a community that strives for research in mathematics, collaboration, and lively community thinking and innovation.
We believe that mathematics is the foundation of all progress in science and technology, and our research spans a wide range of mathematics, with a particular emphasis on algebra, number theory.
Our center is established with an intention to offer a dynamic and supportive habitat for researchers at all levels in their careers, i.e., students, postdoctoral fellows, long-term senior researchers, and visiting scholars. Such individuals will all be contributing up to a common objective: extending the frontier of mathematics. Seminars, workshop series, and research semesters are organized to keep collaborations for exciting new ideas and connections across disciplines.
They also create academic freedom and space so that any of our researchers will have the freedom to explore topics of individual interest. We do so by availing good funding for research and modern facilities with access to a wealth of resources that are aimed at facilitating tools and support for groundbreaking discoveries.
As the director, I pride myself on such a flourishing community within our walls. It is really becoming a place where the flow of ideas forms freely, collaborations grow, and all come to give their efforts towards meaningful contributions in mathematical sciences.
I welcome you to our research center, invite you to attend events, and connect with us. If you are a researcher, a student, or interested in mathematics, then MRC is the right place for you.
Let’s keep crossing boundaries to ask big questions and collaborate for great impact.
